Petitions - Election season is upon us! Candidates running for the County Legislature must obtain a certain number of signatures in order to be listed on the ballot in November. Candidates and Democratic Committee members are circulating petitions throughout the town. Redistricting has divided DeWitt into FOUR Onondaga County Legislative seats. We have recruited excellent candidates for three of those positions, and are seeking a fourth candidate. The three Democratic Candidates are: |

DeWitt Neighborhoods - Neighborhoods are the key to this town. DeWitt is spread out, and each neighborhood has its own culture and issues. It’s important that the representative that you elect knows and cares about those issues. We are also united by common issues. Our Democratic Goals state what we stand for: a sustainable, green policy for the town, providing goods and services at a reasonable cost, and insuring that taxes are as low and as fair as possible.
