Help the DeWitt Democratic Committee

The DeWitt Democratic Party always needs volunteers, so join in, please. Look through the list of sub-committees to see where your interests fit. Click on the contact name to send an email to sign up or get more information.

Candidate Recruitment - Encourage capable Democrats to run for DeWitt offices, and help set up a campaign committee. Contact: Barbara Klim

Distribution - Deliver petition packets, campaign literature and signs to committee members’ and inspectors’ homes. Contact: Linda Ervin

Finance - Determine a major fundraising project for the year and involve the full committee in making it successful. Volunteer Needed

Hospitality - Arrive early at meetings, arrange the furniture, greet committee members, provide light refreshments and put room back in order. Volunteer Needed

Mailing - Prepare bulk mailings to take to Taft Road Post Office. Pick up materials from the Chair, find a location and workers to help stuff envelopes. Contact: Barb Klim

Membership - Recruit new DeWitt Committee Members, help them during their first year on the committee. Contact: Bryan Seamans

Public Relations - Increase visibility of DeWitt Dems at community events. Inform Committee members of events. Work on media relations. Contact: Rosalie Young

Town Board Liaison - Attend DeWitt board meetings, usually the 2nd and 4th Mondays of month at 7:30pm, report major issues to the Chair. Contact: Barbara Klim

Web Site - Update and maintain this site. Contribute event information and photos. Contact: Deborah Shanahan
